Teddy

Teddy is a handsome two year old black golden retriever mix with a heart of gold. He's a big boy - tall and about 77 lbs - and is looking for a family to continue throwing his favorite pink ball for him to fetch. He has an affectionate temperament and knows basic commands, but needs an owner with experience to continue his training, particularly on how to walk on a leash without pulling and to remind him that jumping for attention isn't necessary (or appreciated). Teddy is a total family dog and was raised in a home with young children, however we would recommend a home with children 8 and up due to his size and energy level. He loves people and would do best in a home where he is not left alone for more than a few hours. The ideal home for Teddy is with an owner dedicated to giving him daily exercise and stimulation. Teddy gets along well with other dogs, is submissive, and wants nothing more than to play! He would also do well in a home with another dog that he can play with. Teddy is located in Sacramento.
