Cars: loves car rides, no need for tie down any longer but will still bolt out so needs to have leash on when getting out

Cats: doesn't seem to care, ignores our cat

Kids: very gentle and loving, but not really ingaged, will say hi then goes onto what she was doing

Other Dogs: fine, she is kind of a loner, friendly with others but on her own as she prefers

Owner Exp.: Intermediate, Legally blind, Hx of Brain inj causing significant behaviors, meds required

Home Alone: fine, after 2yr she has finally learned the doggie door, so is now house trained to go out, no more accidents in the house.

Bitsy/Skittles

Sweet Bitsy is very loving but aloof to most outsiders. She has major panic/anxiety disorder due to a brain inj. She is blind in one eye and partially in the other. We have found a medication regime that is working for her. She loves her routine and doesn't like change. She is very happy in her long time foster home. We love her and are fine with her living with us forever. We understand her special needs and how to help her.

Bitsy's brother Mister died early this morning, Rest in peace my dear boy. We loved you so much.

Still working on doggie door, very scary, she'll go thru now if I hold door open but won't go thru on her own. If I don't wake up in the am to hear her walking around about 530-6 she won't tell me, but will pee on kitchen floor.

My little Bitsy is blooming every day into a confident girl, loves her car rides now, just last night we walked around the block too. She is getting more confident every day. I am a proud foster mom!

Bitsy has told me she would love to be adopted into a home that is quiet. Someone who doesn't want to take me for walks or car rides but just let me be at home. I love to sun bathe in the yard. I adore my dog beds. My foster mom doesn't let me on her furniture but I do love to get on the couch or get into the chair and snuggle with you. You could say I am a "Snuggle Bug". That is my wish list. Is that you?
