Beautiful girl with heart condition

Penny is a lovely 2 year old female golden who has ventricular arrhythmia (abnormal heart rhythms). She is awaiting an appointment for a holter monitor (24 hour monitor of her heart) in late November. While not spayed until we get more info on this medical condition, she needs to avoid strenuous activity - she's still able to go on walks and play some with other dogs. We do not yet know the severity of Penny’s heart condition, but what we do know is she is otherwise perfect! She is intelligent, wants to please, and gives the best hugs and snuggles. Penny is a bit shy with people at first and can be skittish. She has lived with children and is great with them. She likes to play with other dogs. She would do well in a home with patient adults and ideally a dog of similar size and age that can help her gain confidence. Penny has a lot of energy and loves to explore. She does get excited to see people and will jump up (remember the part about giving the best hugs?) but is easily redirected. She pulls some on leash and will bark and try to chase squirrels and birds. Penny is being fostered in Walnut Creek.
