Kids: No children. She lived with young kids but needs to be in a quiet environment.

Other Dogs: Does well with other dogs.

Home Alone: has separation anxiety, tends to pace but otherwise is fine for short periods. Will need to be in a home with someone who works remote or retired.

Maya is looking for her furever home

Maya is a beautiful, loving, dainty golden girl of 4 years who is looking for her furever home. Maya likes to sit on her hind legs and give you her paw, she loves attention, takes treats softly, walks well on leash. Maya is currently being fostered with another Golden and a Golden Doodle that she has taken a shine to. She didn't have a nurturing start in life and because of that she is uncertain of men, is skittish and can get spooked but working hard to overcome her fears of everything in this new world. She has come a long way since NGRR rescued her. Maya never seen a toy before, she's starting to learn what toys are and beginning to like playing with the ball. Slowly, Maya is working hard to learn that people and other dogs can be trusted. Maya will continue to blossom into the Golden she was meant to be in a quiet, loving home with a patient couple or female adopter. No children please. Maya is being fostered in Folsom, CA.
