Kensi is a return to rescue after 4 years. She is a lovely girl who gets along well with other dogs and did well on the initial introduction with the vet clinic cat. She loves to lay at your feet and watch TV. Kensi has basic training and is potty-trained. She is being fostered with a three-year-old child and is very well-behaved. Kensi is current on all medical and weighs 70 lbs. DNA was completed at 1 year old, and she does have Ichthyosis 1, which presents as flaky skin. Ichthyosis can be managed with monthly baths, daily fish oil, and vitamin A. Kensi is not a fan of crates. We have allowed her to sleep without a crate, and she is doing well. Kensi is being fostered in San Jose. Kensi would prefer a home with another mature maler dog and someone home throughout the days, but she can be left alone without issue. Kids are good but not required. She is your girl if you have the patience to work through a couple of minor training items.
