Kensi is a return to rescue after 4 years. She is a very sweet girl who gets along with other dogs. She started to have some confusing anxiety behaviors. The training assessment was completed on her freezing while walking, but the trainer used treats to incent and she did fine. She demonstrates the same behavior when trying to get her into the car but rides well. Kensi's wellness was completed, and nothing came back. We started her on Prozac while she was in her owner's home. We will take her in to do x-rays and an eye examination to check on the list.

NORCAL GOLDEN RETRIEVER RESCUE

Is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, whose Mission is to rescue and place adoptable Golden Retrievers in Northern California in safe, loving homes; thereby improving the lives of both the dog and the adoption household. We are happy to accept Golden Mixes and bonded pairs that include at least one Golden Retriever into our care and placement process.
