Home Alone: Recommended alone time would be a max of 3 hours as we are working on crate and potty training.

Honey is a 1-year-old Golden Retriever female that came to NGRR after living most of her life in a backyard with zero training. We're working on the basics with Honey, getting her fully potty trained and socialized and so far she has done great! She's had exposure to cats and other dogs with no issues at all and was even indifferent to meeting a horse. Honey is still fearful at first upon meeting new people, but is making very good progress. She does best following the lead from an older dog. Her foster describes her as curious, loving, and VERY energetic. She is being trained with a crate, and is doing much better on the leash with routine walks. She was spayed on 12/10, so should be ready for her forever home after December 20th. Honey is being fostered in Murphys, CA. If you have the time, patience, and experience to continue Honey's ongoing training needs, please contact your local Area Coordinator.
