Honey was an "outside dog" according to the surrendering owner. She hadn't ever been in a car until he brought her to Norcal, the first 24 hours did not go well - not a fan of a crate and was car sick, poor baby. She is not house-trained and will need to be tethered, watched, or leashed until she's got that under control. She is willing to sleep in her crate, and is amazingly GREAT with other dogs! Loves to play, and is very sweet. Working on her medical. She is being fostered in Contra Costa.

NORCAL GOLDEN RETRIEVER RESCUE

Is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, whose Mission is to rescue and place adoptable Golden Retrievers in Northern California in safe, loving homes; thereby improving the lives of both the dog and the adoption household. We are happy to accept Golden Mixes and bonded pairs that include at least one Golden Retriever into our care and placement process.
