Special Needs Golden

Beautiful Hazel is a very active 16-week old puppy. She sleeps in her crate, terrorizes her two golden foster brothers. Is learning basic commands and is almost potty trained. She was born without a femoral head on her back right leg. Only time will tell if she will need any surgery or if her puppy energy will help develop the leg. She has orthopedic checkups at 6 and 12 months. SHe is adorable. No young children under 7 years.

Hazel update

Hazel is now 16 weeks old and weighs 20 lbs. She is a small female from a reputable breeder and will probably be 50-55 lbs. She has completed three DAPP vaccinations and will get her rabies on 1/18. She is being fostered with two male goldens 2 1/2 yo and a 3 1/2 yo. She holds her own but must be supervised to ensure she does not get hurt because she is a puppy. She sleeps in her crate for 8-9 hours. Working on potty training and basic commands. The next ortho appointment is in March for a new set of X-rays.
