Other Dogs: Cooper is being fostered with two bossy females. Doing great so far.

Owner Exp.: Medium Expereince. Typical teenager

Home Alone: Cooper was a backyard dog and left for 10 hours. Working on crate training to be contained for 2-3 hours during the day.

Say Hello to Cooper

Cooper is our 11-month-old pup. He’s very young and goofy. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but he warms up fast and gets along with everyone. He’s heading to the vet for a wellness check and probably weighs about 75 pounds. Cooper has lived with four kids, though he’s spent most of his time in the backyard kennel. He loves to play fetch, sleeps well in his crate, hasn’t had any accidents in the house, and listens to the female Goldens in his foster home. He walks nicely on a leash. Cooper is smart and picks up training quickly. He hasn’t been neutered yet because we follow UC Davis’s recommendation to wait until 18 months, but we’re open to doing it sooner for the right family. Cooper is being fostered in Sunnyvale. If you’re interested, please make sure you’ve filled out your adoption application.
