Charlie is a 44 lbs 9-month-old Golden Retriever puppy. During his wellness visit, we detected a heart murmur, and further investigation was completed with a cardiologist and an echo. Charlie has been diagnosed with a Grade 4 heart murmur and put on heart medication for the rest of his life. We can supply the report for review with an adopter's vet. Norcal will continue to fund all necessary heart tests in the future. The next echo will be at 18 months. Charlie is a very typical sweet puppy. Limited training, but learning quickly and is very quiet in the home. He is potty-trained. Charlie loves to play. His play outside the house will need to be managed, ie, no dog parks. He is being fostered with another dog and lived with a cat. Charlie is being fostered in Santa Clara County.
