Bonnie is a beautiful female Golden Retriever. She weighs approximately 65 lbs. She is currently in a Board and Train program because she has lived with a female beagle, with whom she has had constant fighting since she was a young dog. Her trainer states she is terrified of all dogs. Pulls hard on a leash. We are looking for a home with no dogs or cats, and we are also open to having teenage kids. One adult who works from home. Reach out to your area coordinator if you have the perfect home.

Bonnie is currently in a Board and Train for evaluation. Bonnie is a sweet 65 lb girl who was exposed to many things in the home. Outside of the home, she has limited exposure, so everything is a bit scary. She is very affectionate girl and loves to cuddle and play tug with her toys. She grew up with a female Beagle, where there was aggression between the two female dogs. They were living separately. She is ok with male dogs, but is being tested now. She may also resource guard high-value items, but is good at trading if new owners are experienced. She pulls on the leash and will be working on her leash training. She currently sleeps in a crate. She is being fostered in Santa Clara County.

Bonnie is a young at heart went to obedience training. Had the trainer come and assess the problem between the two female dogs. Both dogs are spayed. Two teenagers are in the home. Grandkids that visit 2, 4, 7, 13. Bonnie gets along with all the kids—no resource guarding with people. If she stole food, she resisted. Wants to play with other dogs and plays with the sons male husky mix. Bonnie is bossy. Bonnie sleeps in the bedroom in a crate. Can go to the beach and ride in the car together—trainers' guidance - separate spaces and leash in the same place. Use gates and shock mats on the couch to keep them off the furniture—ideal home - no female dog, maybe only dog. Kids over 8 since she is mouthy, can be left during the day, and sleep in a crate.
