Meet Walter

Walter is an adorable and energetic 15 month old golden doodle/lab who grew up with his litter mate and is good around kids over 10, plays well with other dogs, and does not pull too much on his leash when walking. He grew up able to roam a large fenced yard, play a lot of fetch, took occasional trips to dog park and bike rides/run with his owner. He loves riding in the car. He can obey basic commands, but sometimes needs to be told more than once. A family that could continue to work on good puppy manners is required. His current foster family notes that he is a bit nervous meeting new people but does fine once properly introduced. He seems ok with ducks and chickens, but is a bit too interested in their rabbit. We don't know about cats. He weighs in at 62 pounds, was just neutered and microchipped and is current on all vaccines. Walter is being fostered in Jackson (Amador County) and will be ready for adoption starting August 21st.
