Beautiful Poppy.

Poppy is a beautiful 6.5 yo recently spayed female golden She was surrendered as a backyard-only dog and very very overweight. Her foster is working on losing weight through diet and exercise. Poppy loves attention and will nose-bonk you if she feels neglected. She is enjoying daily walks and swimming in the local rivers in Redding. She does well with other dogs, and kids and is house-trained. Her foster has worked with her off-leash training so that she can enjoy river swimming which helps her diet. She enjoys playing with other dogs and is currently being fostered with another golden Poppy who sleeps on a dog bed at night, is well-behaved but barks at people passing by when the front door is open. She is a sweet, eager-to-please girl.
