Looking for a gorgeous diamond in the rough? I'm your guy!

Benito aka Benny is a sweet boy who is turning 1 next week. He'd love nothing more than a family to call his own for this and every future birthday. He hasn't had as much of an opportunity to be a real puppy, so now he's a 90 pound puppy! Once he gets to know you, he's your typical loving golden, but he does take a while to warm up to strangers (human and canine). He will require ongoing training to address a couple instances of resource guarding, so we're looking for an adult-only home (no kids), no cats, and maybe a friendly and calm female dog. We think he'd love to be the center of someone's world, so would be great to have a family where someone is home much of the time. He's sleeping in a crate, so is crate trained if you need to go out for a while. Please consider getting your training skills out to help this beautiful boy shine!
